A group of people from Prodigy's(R) Sailor Moon Fan Club have created
a piece of fan-fiction of their own! The way it works is like this:
Members of the club log on and add on to what other users have already
written. Each writer makes the story in his/her own style, making for
a very interesting piece of Fan-Fiction. If it someone thinks it can
happen, it will probably find its way into our story. It began in
October of '95, and it's still going. It may not end for a long time...

*** Sailor Moon CS #56 - Vanished ***
*************************************

An irate and fanatic woman was yelling at her son.
"Where have you been? Is that voimt I see? Have you been drinking?"
Danny's mom yelled.
"I, uh...," Danny began. Before he could finish, he ran into the house,
went into the bathroom, and took care of his business. Then, he ran back
outside.
"Um, Mom, the reason I am so late is because, um, the reason is, that my
party was up in the woods and, um, you see the car broke down and, um,
there was no phone," Danny said.
The excuse didn't settle over too well, but he got out of it. His mom had
to leave because of a trip to Africa to settle Wake Tech Africa disputes,
so she didn't have the time to deal with him right now.
The next day, he was feeling a bit better. He was in a truck, going down
Route 40 at about 80mph, music blazing.
"Frank! Do we have to go so fast?!" Danny yelled at the driver.
"Huh? What? Oh, okay," Frank said, slowing the truck down.
Minutes later, they arrived in front of a huge building. Frank pulled
into the parking lot. Danny ran in, dug something out of one of the rooms,
and came out of the building carrying a box in his arms.
"You get the piece you needed?" said Frank.
"Yeah, it's easy to get stuff when your mom owns the company," said Danny.
"Now to fix this." He pulled out a device..
"Are we going to my house?" said Frank.
"Nah, my house is vacant," said Danny.
They drove back to Danny's house. Frank had to leave after half an hour.
Danny fiddled with wires and a soldering iron and the box of parts he got
from Wake Tech. An hour later, he managed to get the mangled thing
together again.
"YES!" Danny yelled. "The case could use some work, but it works." The
device looked mangled, but the LCD and timer screen were okay. "Now to test
it!, hmmmm...ah ha! Destination: Tokyo." Tokyo lit up under destination
coordinants. "Time, 60 minutes." 60 minutes flashed up on the timer
screen.
"Iniate protocol 1A." A man sized, purple, swirling porthole opened up.
Danny jumped through the porthole and fell in front of Rei's temple.
"Hi, guys! I'm here, um, for 60 minutes anyways..."

======================================================================

Nicky saw the building go "poof," and ran to check it out. Generally,
that's not the smartest thing to do. She walked towards Serena and Darien,
and toppled over.
"Argh! I've been getting so clumsy late...ly," she said. Nicky had just
taken a good look at Darien's aura, and she scrambled away from him.
"It appears you've made some little witch, verrrrry unhappy."
"Not a witch, a goddess," Darien said, and Serena relayed the rest of the
story.
"Ick," was the only response Nicky could think of.
"Boy, is that ever an understatement," Darien said. "Perhaps it would be
better if I stayed out of view for a while. Just to make sure nobody else
gets hurt." Without waiting for a response, he left Serena and Nicky.
"So, what do we do now?" Nicky asked.
"We try to find an angry Darien look-alike, or the even angrier Moon
goddess," Serena said. She managed a weak smile. "Take your pick."
"It probably wouldn't be good if Selene caught you with Endymion or Darien
again," Nicky said.
  "Yes, that's true."
"So, we should probably look for Selene."
"I don't think she'll be wanting to see me again," Serena said. "At least
not until she's cooled off."
"I guess we're stuck then," Nicky said. "Unless you think she'll listen
to someone else."
  "I don't know," Serena said.
"Do you think she'll start taking her anger out on buildings again?" Nicky
said. "Just looking at this pile of rubble scares me." She pointed to the
building that Selene destroyed during Serena's last confrontation with
Selene.
"I sure hope not," Serena said.

======================================================================

Darien was carefully weaving his way down the street, making sure not to
get within two feet of anybody. It was no easy task for him. He kept
having to jump from side to side; and it made him look quite foolish.
Just then, Molly and Melvin came by. Molly had her arm around Melvin,
and Melvin was holding his face in his hand. Molly took one look at Darien,
and her expression changed.
"You jerk!" she yelled at Darien. "Just because you're angry doesn't mean
you've got to take it out on Melvin!"
"Uh oh," Darien said. He guessed that she was talking about Endymion.
She took a step towards him. "I'm so mad, I could--" Then, she fell
down. Melvin helped Molly to her feet. Darien tried to apologize, but they
wouldn't hear him out. After a few obscenities, the two of them stormed
off.
"Man, that Endymion is really screwing with my reputation!" Darien
thought to himself. "Pretty soon, everyone's gonna hate me."
Blinded by his anger, he failed to see the people walking in his
direction. Like so many times before, he knocked a man down with his
invisible energy dome.
The man got up, and started yelling at Darien. "Why you stupid--" All of
a sudden, the look on his face changed. The same thing happened to Darien.
  "You must be...Endymion," Darien said.
"Yes," Endymion said, a suspicious look on his face.
Darien felt a bit of relief. "I've been looking all over for you!"
  "Is that so?"
"Not only me, but Selene's been looking for you too!"
"Selene?! Wait a minute..." Endymion paused for a brief moment. "It's
you! You're the one..." Endymion's eyes turned a deep, envious green.

======================================================================

Just then Danny came running up the street. "Darien what's--oof!" he
yelled as he fell down. "There's two Dariens? What did I hit?" said Danny,
he focused his eyes. "Yikes! Two Dariens!"
Lorna saw the commotion, and ran towards the three of them, with Kyle
following behind her. She fell to the ground after bumping into Darien's
shield. "Darien, you'd better have a good explanation.
"Yeah, but it would take too long to explain," Serena said, walking
towards the group. Nicky was tagging along beside her. Endymion looked at
her rather oddly.
"What are -=you=- doing here?" He snapped.
"Huh?" Nicky asked, glancing over her shoulder to see who he was talking
to. There was no one there. "Oh, it isn't you. Never mind, mortal. Now
-=you=-!" He pointed to Darien. "How dare you!?"
"Ack!" Nicky squeaked, as Endymion shot a flare of some kind at Darien.
Nicky hit the floor, dragging Darien and Serena with her.
"Endymion! Please! Stop it! Let them talk!" Nicky said.
"Why should I! Who are you to tell -=me=- what to do?!" Endymion shouted
at her. He was obviously royally pissed, but he was starting to bring out
Nicky's smart alec persona.
"I'm Nicky," she said. The way he stared at her made her slightly
nervous. "ExCUSE me! Is there something on my face that I should know about
here!?" Her cheeks were turning bright red. This guy was really starting
to get on her nerves.

======================================================================

Selene continued to wander the streets. She was constantly thinking of
Endymion, and how she saw Serena hugging him. Of course, Serena wasn't
really hugging Endymion--it was Darien. The goddess didn't know any better
though.
She had cooled off somewhat since her last encounter with Serena, but
Selene still needed to release some anger. It just so happened that she had
wandered right into Rei's temple.
It was late in the afternoon. The only people around were Rei, her
grandfather, and Chad.
Selene stood in the middle of the temple grounds, just looking around.
Rei, Grandpa, and Chad stepped outside.
"Hello there," Rei said. "Can we help you?"
"This is a place of worship, correct?" Selene said.
  "Yes, that's right," Rei said.
"Who do you worship?" Selene asked. "Do you worship the great goddess of
the Moon?"
"Well, no. At this temple we--"
"I suppose nobody really thinks that I'm important anymore."
  "Huh?"
  "Hmmmph. Ingrate. You're all ingrates!"
The negative energy eminating from Selene's aura was felt by all. Just
when Selene was about to calm down, she found something else to tick her
off.
Rei sensed the possibility of danger. She was prepared to transform, but
Selene underwent a change of her own.
Selene took her goddess form. In this form, she was somewhat taller, but
much more powerful. Her lengthy, white, silk gown flowed down her body,
covering her feet. She rose her arms into the air, in a crucifix-like pose.
The wind blew through her beautiful long hair, revealing the crescent
birthmark on her forehead.
It was a sight that astonished, as well as struck fear.

======================================================================

Endymion's head sprung up, and turned in the direction of Cherry Hill. He
had sensed sometihng strong in the air, and was deeply attracted to it.
Immediately, he walked in the direction of the temple, taking down
everything in his path. This time, Darien was the one who fell down.
Darien fell hard on the concrete. Midnight, Kyle, Serena, Nicky, and
Danny all tried to help him up--forgetting about Darien's predicament. The
four of them fell on the ground.
  "Sorry about that," Darien said.
"We've got to stop doing that," Serena said.
"We've got to follow him!" Midnight said.
"Hurry, he's getting away!" Serena said.
The five of them sprung to their feet. Darien stayed behind the other
four, so that nobody would be falling down again.
After taking ten steps, a young man appeared in their path. The man,
wearing a broad-brimmed hat and winged sandals, waved his caduceus in the
air and said, "Do not meddle in the affairs of others."

======================================================================

The goddess of the Moon, in all of her splendor, stood above the three
beings in the temple's courtyard. Somehow, she was reluctant to take her
anger out on these innocents.
Instead, Selene turned around, and released her negative energy in the
form of a power ball which collided with the earth at the base of the steps
leading to the temple.
And at the bottom of those steps, a handsome young man was running by.

======================================================================

"Get a clue Hermes!" Nicky hissed, sweeping past him. "It's -=our=-
friends who are getting hurt because of Selene and Endymion's little
"episode" so I'd say it is entirely -=our=- business, and -=you=- are the
one meddling." Nicky resisted the almost overpowering temptation to steal
his hat and play keep-away.
"Wait a sec! How did you know my name?" Hermes asked.
Nicky looked puzzled for a moment. "I don't really know... Maybe it was
the goofy hat?"
The young woman sitting on the steps of a building nearby looked up from
her book and watched them. The only remarkable characteristic about her,
was her lack of any remarkable characteristic. She almost blended into the
background. It was not surprising that no one noticed her sitting there.
It was slightly more surprising that no one had noticed the owl perched on
the doorway above her.
"Hold your tongue, mortal!" Hermes sneered. He had never been told off
by a mortal before.
Something changed in Nicky's attitude. She pivoted on her heels and
stood facing him, indignant rage flashing in her eyes. "Watch -=your=-
tongue Hermes," she said,in the same tone he'd used on her. Her eyes grew
very wide, as a sudden realization crept over her. Her hand flew to her
mouth. "oh...Oh!" She gasped.
"It's about time," the sitting girl said, closing her book and standing
up. As she stood up, she transformed. She had the same pale skin, and red
hair as Nicky. Her gray eyes flashed as she surveyed the group. She wore
a long silk robe, which floated around her as though it was made of the
wind itself (which it very well may have been). She was inhumanly
beautiful, and she was well aware of it.
"Athena! What on Earth are you doing on Earth? Wait, that didn't sound
quite right," Hermes said.
"Well, it's not my fault!" Nicky said, addressing Athena. "The exact
words were, 'I would remember when NECESSARY.' I guess it just wasn't
necessary 'till now."
"You mean, avenging an ego bruised by -=Hermes=- was more important than
stopping Artemis from brainwashing the entire Orion council?" Athena asked,
smiling slightly, as though the situation was humorous.
"Apparently so," said Nicky, obviously tired of being scolded. "Anyways,
it wasn't up to -=me=- when I remembered. Remember? Oh, hold on," She gave
an exasperated sigh, and without warning, she flared up like a magnesium
strip. As suddenly as it had started, the light disappeared, and Nicky
stood there, slightly altered.
She wore a robe like Athena's, only shorter, and purple. Nicky smirked
slightly as she arranged her curls. The most noticable change by far, was
the fact that a pair of large, white wings had appeared on her shoulders.
She stretched them up, letting the sun play on the soft feathers.
"Aha! I knew it! I knew there was something unusual about her!" Hermes
shouted.
"Will someone please tell me what's going on!" Serena wailed.
"Oh, sorry, how terribly rude of me," Athena said. "Serena, Nike.
Nike, Serena."
"Just do it," Nike said, smirking slightly.
"What?" Danny said, looking up from his broken whatzitcalled.
"Well, what do you expect?" Nike said. "I've spent the last fourteen
years as a subject of American consumerism....No, I'm not the goddess of
shoes."
"Very obvious. Now aren't we supposed to do something about Selene and
Endymion? We've got to stop them before they destroy the entire city,"
Darien said.
"Oh yeah, I forgot." Nike said.
"Hold it!" Hermes shouted, suddenly remembering why he was there, "I can't
let you interfere!"
"Oh, get over it Hermes," Nike said. The entire group walked past, and
he followed helplessly. Athena shrugged and picked up her book to wait.
The owl followed them.

======================================================================

Endymion sprung into the air, hopping over the ten foot-wide, ten foot-
deep crater at the bottom of the stairs to the temple. Knowing that only
one force on the planet could be responsible for what had just happened,
he hurried up the stairs. "What the hell were you doing?!" Endymion
screamed at the goddess, Selene.
"Oh, shut up!" Selene said. "Besides, it's not like you'd want to listen
to anything I have to say."
"That isn't true," Endymion said. "Quit being a self-piteous, immature,
bitter littlt goddess."

======================================================================

Serena, Nike, Midnight, Kyle, and Danny were hurrying to the temple.
Darien follwed them, a little more than two feet away.
Hermes knew they couldn't get to Endymion and Selene before he did. So,
using his winged sandals, he zipped through the air, and landed between the
quarreling couple.
"Lord Endymion! Lady Selene!" Hermes said.
"Hermes! How did you get here?" Selene asked.
"I snuck through the portal," Hermes replied. "And I made it so that
it'll open automatically in a few minutes. I've come to take the two of you
back!"
"I'm not going back!" Endymion and Selene said.
"But you must!" Hermes said. "There is something terrible going on at the
Silver Necropolis!"
"I don't wanna be anywhere near that jerk!" Selene said.
"Hmmph! The same goes for me," Endymion said.
"Well, then maybe you can go back, Lady Selene. Lord Endymion will just
wait here," Hermes said.
"If you think I'm going to spend another minute in this hell, you're
terribly mistaken!" Endymion said. "She can stay! I'm going home!"
"That's fine with me," Selene said.
"No! You've got to return!" Hermes pleaded.
Serena and company arrived a minute later. They found Selene, Endymion,
and Hermes quibbling about who would be going home. Rei, Chad, and Rei's
grandpa were just staring at them.
Rei went over to Serena and explained the situation to her and the rest
of the new arrivals. "Selene has to go home and fix whatever problem is
going on at the Silver Necropolis," Rei said.
At that moment, a white pillar of light came down from the heavens.
Selene and Endymion instantly jumped away from it.
"It's time to go!" Hermes pleaded.
"I'm not going!" Selene and Endymion said.
"But you've got to go back!" everyone else said.
"Well, it's come to this," Hermes said. He flew behind Endymion, and
tried to push him into the portal.
Serena saw Hermes, and decided to do the same with Selene. She got behind
her godmother, and pushed.
"Please go in!" Hermes said. "The portal will close soon!"
In fact, the light was already beginning to fade from the pillar.
Endymion and Selene were struggling not to be pushed in. Then, they both
stopped, and ducked. The forward momentum of Hermes and Serena sent them
flying into the portal.
Darien tried to grab Serena before she disappeared into the portal. The
side of his invisible shield struck Serena, propelling Serena away.
The pillar of light vanished from the temple, as did Serena and Hermes.
Endymion and Selene were also gone.
"Oh no!" Rei said. "Where'd Endymion and Selene go?!"
"We've got to get them back here!" Darien said.
"They have to settle their differences," Danny said.
"Let's not waste any time," Nike said. Nike, Rei, Darien, Danny, and
Kyle ran off in different directions.
Chad and Grandpa scratched their heads, and went back into the temple.
